Special Solutions

Our favourite discipline. Your search for a solution which is not feasible using standard components? Maybe an individual designed integrated circuit is an option. Together with our partners in research development and production, we have gathered know-how in fields such as high precision sensor analysis, low power, high-voltage and mixed signal circuits, Lab-on-Chip as well as MEMS-based pressure and inertial sensors with individual specifications for surfaces and packaging.

Hoch-Voltage-Applications

We have gathered several years of experience in combination of logic and analog components for high-voltage-circuits during the development of IC solutions for LED, electrical drives, piezo actuators. Our customers appreciate our individual solutions in terms of excellent quality and robust design. These already in produced IC solutions are specified for voltages of 300 V and higher.

Enhanced CMOS

For several applications, additionally to CMOS circuit design the non-electrical functionalities of the circuits are important. For example it is possible to directly integrate MEMS elements or individual structured surfaces with inert materials and polymer layers on the chip. Using these enhanced CMOS technologies completely new microelectronic solutions for chemical applications on chip-level are available such as reaction chambers and flow passages for fluid reagents.

MEMS-based Inertial and pressure sensors

MEMS-based systems are often used for a precise measurement of an objects motion such as rotation rate, acceleration and vibration. They also are commonly used for a precise differential pressure measurement For several years we delve deeply into these fields of sensor technology and aim for highest precision to satisfy the specifications of our customers. We have established our own design methods to efficiently optimise the interplay between CMOS and MEMS components for your applications. Thanks to our close cooperation with research institutions on the Smart Systems Campus in Chemnitz such as Fraunhofer Institute ENAS and TU Chemnitz we have access to cutting-edge MEMS-design technologies and characterisation tools.
